Things to do before shooting:

-Prepare and set up instruments (mic+stand, guitar and drums)

-Pull curtains across mirrors and windows to create a black background and rely on the spotlights to produce lighting

-Borrow tripod from photography room

11:40 am: Set up iPhone 7 camera on the tripod to film an establishing-shot of the whole band and turn on relevant spotlights to get the best lighting possible that fits the alternative rock genre.

11:45 am: Film song all the way through, focusing on certain bits i.e. guitar solo.

11:50am: Watch video and point out good bits and bits that need improving.

12:05 pm: Watch the video and see if anything needs filming from the same distance again.

12:20 pm: Play the beginning of the song whilst only filming a mid-shot of the drummer and then film other shots of the drummer on certain parts of the song i.e. a panning shot.

12:40: pm: Film the guitarist playing the guitar at the start of the song using a mid-long camera shot and then film more scenes of the guitarist playing later parts in the song using different shots i.e. a close-up.

12:50 pm: Film close-up and panning shots of main singer singing parts of song.

1:00 pm: Lunch break.

1:30 pm: Outfit change and move all props and instruments to location no.2; photography room.

2:25 pm: Film close-up shots of singer singing with microphone and then with a balloon.

2:40 pm: Move all props/instruments out of location area in order to perform/sing with noting in the way and as a band for the "Hard Times" echo lines used in the chorus using a wide-mid shot of the band with the camera placed on the tripod.

3:00 pm: Put all equipments and objects back in the correct place before returning home.

Narrative:

Things needed before filming:

-Collect tripod from photography

-Ensure all location areas are ready for filming and have no random people in

10:00 am: Everyone arrives at my house and I tell them the plan.

10:15 am: Go to the first setting which is my bedroom where me and Leanne (metaphorical depression character) get into my bed, with the duvet covering our legs ensuring that the camera will not crop out our heads when we sit up.

10:25 am: Film opening narrative scene where the main character awakes and the depression character is there straight away.

10:30 am: Watch clip and ensure it looks how I want I to.

10:35 am: Film the rest of the scenes in and around different locations in my house including kitchen, dining room, living room, on the stairs, hallway and outside the front.

11:00 am: Check that I have all the clips I want and am sticking to my storyboard and initial ideas.

11:15 am: Take my dog for a walk and go to another location (the lane) to film the scene of the main character walking the dog.

11:45: am: Drive to school and film the scenes in the different locations needed there i.e. the hallway, the stairs and outside by the field.

12:30 am: Lunch break.

1:00 am: Walk to the common outside of school and film scenes with extra characters (Harry and Beth) as well as the end scene in the forest.

1:30 am: Finish filming and watch back all of the clips, ensuring that I have all of the narrative clips that I need.
